“Come! The F! ON!”

Alma sputtered and spit and snarled as she tried to rip her dress off, to no avail. She then tried to do the same to the diaper around her waist. Neither one budged, and she was starting to wear herself out.

“Frickin’…hurrrrgh,” she growled. “That nanny probably enchants all the clothes and diapers here, so those little freakazoids aren’t running around ghost-naked all the time, huh…” Whatever. Spilled milk. Next priority. Alma let out another frustrated noise. She really wanted to find Zoe and beat the snot out of her, but…

“It’s time to cut our losses, man, screw revenge and screw the stupid truffle. I gotta just find Charlie and get out of here.” She let out a huff. There. She said it out loud, so now she had to abide by it: no revenge. It annoyed her, but there it was. Thinking about Zoe gave her a small aching twitch in her head.

“Feels like I’m supposed to remember something else about Zoe…god, my head is still so foggy.” She shook it again. It gave her more motivation to just leave before she ran into any other surprises. “Okay. Okay. I think I remember that Charlie was in that bedroom. I don’t think they got her all the way yet? Maybe I can still get her out.” She started heading towards the bedroom, when she heard familiar voices nearby and quickly ducked into the first open door she saw. It turned out to be a dark closet, which was fine with her. She slid the door most of the way closed, then peeked out through the gap in the wall and the door.

“I seriously can’t believe you guys let her get away. We left her with you for like five minutes!” Mint scolded Choco.

“I just - I just. I thought she - she tricked me - and she tricked Lemon, and I thought she really wanted to be friends - and she seemed like she was being really nice, but then—” Whimpered Choco, who was sniffling and wibbling and generally looked like she was on the verge of tears. Alma grimaced. Again, she didn’t know why she felt bad, ‘cause this was all in self-defense! She was just trying to save herself from being some kinda brainwashed baby pet for some weird frilly ghosts! She wasn’t in the wrong at all! But she still felt kinda bad for manipulating Choco anyway.

“It’s. Okay. I’m sorry I snapped, Choco, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. It’s okay.” Mint awkwardly patted Choco on the shoulder a few times. “Look, if we can find her soon, we can probably still wrangle her back into being our friend before her memories and her witchy powers come all the way back, but if we don’t find her and change her into a diaper soon to refresh the hypnosis, she’ll turn all the way back into that mean girl that wants to beat us up! So we gotta focus and find her, okay!” She explained, pumping her fists a couple times. “C’mon, Choco, you can do it!” Choco sniffled a couple times, but took in a deep breath, wiped her eyes with her sleeves and nodded.

“O…okay. Let’s go! I want her to be our friend! So let’s go find her!” She said, trying to sound confident.

“That’s the spirit!” Mint grinned and grabbed Choco’s hand. “Let’s go!” She said and both of them flew down the hallway and thankfully, past Alma, who let out a breath as she stepped out of the closet.

“God, it’s so cringe that that’s how they refresh the hypnosis,” she muttered and continued on. On the way, she winced again, feeling another small twitch of discomfort, this time in her stomach. She paid it no mind as she proceeded towards the bedroom.

—

“One! Two! Huuuup! —oof!”

Charlie grunted as a hidden panel burst out of the wall and she tumbled out with it, rolling her way into the kitchen. She jumped onto her feet.

“Secret passage! Hooray!” She said and looked around, looking for any—

“Charlie?”

Charlie’s eyes immediately snapped to the familiar voice. She initially brought up her hands defensively until she saw…

“—Zoe!” Charlie exclaimed. She started towards her, relief on her face, but stopped mid-step, her brow furrowing. “Where’s Alma?” She asked. Zoe swallowed.

“The girls had another trap in the bedroom. They were watching the secret passage the whole time. They.” She took in and let out a breath. “They got Alma and hypnotized her.” Zoe wrung her hands together. “They made her think she’s been living here the whole time, so she’s convinced she and all the girls are friends now.” Charlie shook her head. That was about what she thought had happened, yeah. But, she grimaced at Zoe.

“And you just uh. Happened to see all this happen, huh?” She asked, but it wasn’t really a question. Charlie really did try not to sound like she was accusing Zoe of something. She only kind of succeeded. Zoe picked up on it and ducked her head, the shame obvious on her face.

“I’m sorry. I - yeah. I just watched it all happen.” She shook her head. “I can’t really stand up to the girls. I’m sorry. There’s nothing I can do to stop them.” Charlie took in a breath. She felt bad, that much was definitely real. It did kind of add up. Zoe mentioned she’d been here for a year and she’d had struggles leaving, her being unable to stand up to the ghosts would track with that.

‘Plus, I’m pretty sure she’s just a regular human, not all trained in dealing with supernatural crud like me’n’Alma, so maybe you should just cut her some darn slack, Charlie?’ She thought to herself. She let out a sigh and nodded.

“Yeah,” she said. “I understand. It’s cool, Zoe.” She gave the girl a pat on the shoulder. “Look, I can break the hypnosis on Alma and if I can do that, everything should.” She took in a breath and half-shrugged. “Basically be okay from there. But I need to find ectoplasm first to make the thing I’m gonna use to break the hypnosis.” Zoe seemed surprised that Charlie was just accepting her explanation, but, she nodded back.

“I - I can help you look for the ectoplasm as long as the ghosts don’t show up. If they come, I’m.” She swallowed. “I’m not gonna be that much help,” she admitted. “Sorry.”

“It’s cool,” Charlie repeated with a smile. “But, um. Why aren’t the ghosts here right now, actually? I figured they’d have set a trap or something.” Zoe grimaced and rubbed the back of her head.

“They’re pretty much all busy with Alma now?” She answered. “They’ve never caught a witch before, so she’s like a shiny new toy for them. They all just wanna play with her and have kinda forgotten about anything else.” Charlie let out a breath through her nose.

“Okay, that. Really, really bothers me, and we’re gonna start looking for that ectoplasm right now. C’mon.” She said and gestured for Zoe to come with her. Zoe nodded.

But, Zoe hesitated a little bit as Charlie started looking around. She casted a look back towards the entrance to the kitchen and let out a sigh.

…

“Very good job catching the witch, dolly.”

A pink light floated next to Zoe. It reached a pink-sleeved hand out and patted Zoe on the head a couple times.

“M…mmhm,” Zoe muttered. She really didn’t want any credit for this.

“But.” The pink voice said. “She’s a strong witch, isn’t she? She’s already resisted the hypnosis a couple times.”

“Y-yeah.” Zoe nodded. “They keep having to come up with excuses to change her diaper to refresh it. But I think it’s wearing off quicker each time.”

“Mmn. I noticed too. Witchy girl! Come here!” The pink light beckoned. Alma turned towards them.

“Oh. Uh. Hi, Zoe. Hi, ‘Berry. What’s up?” She asked as she approached them.

“Dolly.” The pink-sleeved hand appeared again, this time holding a small pill in it. “Give this to the witchy girl.”

“What’s that?” Alma asked, immediately looking at the pill. Zoe also squinted at it.

“It’s an ectoplasm suppository,” the pink light answered succinctly. “Nanny uses them when we have a tummy-ache. I use them when Licorice is being annoying. Or when it’s funny.”

“Oh, come on, ‘Berry!” Alma exclaimed incredulously. “I don’t wanna do that! It’s embarrassing!”

“Dolly, give it to her. Witchy girl, let her do it.”

Zoe let out a sigh.

“S-sorry Alma,” she said with a shrug and moved around behind the witch, who grumbled and pulled up the back of her dress.

“If you escape, this’ll make you make a mess and it’ll be easy to find you,” the pink light explained to Alma’s face. “If you don’t, well, in a little while, you’ll fill your diapers in front of everybody and it’ll be fun.”

“I’m glad it’s fun for you,” Alma whined.

“Ready, Alma?” Zoe asked.

“No!” Alma snapped back.

“I know,” Zoe sighed. The ghostly suppository went right through her bloomers and her diapers and, unfortunately for Alma, did exactly as intended, slipping up through her bottom.

“Nnnnn!” Alma squeaked as she felt the little bullet slide up in her. “I’m not even going anywhere, y’know! So this is totally unnecessary and you’re doing it just to mess with me!”

“I know, witchy girl,” the pink light said with a light, airy laugh. “But just to make it extra fun…” A pair of pale lips with a soft pink glow around them briefly appeared and kissed Alma on the forehead. Alma let out a soft groan that slowly turned into a contented noise. “You don’t remember anything that happened once I called you a moment ago.”

Alma’s head slumped forward as the hypnosis took effect. The lips vanished back into the little ball of pink light.

“Even that will probably wear off soon enough. But, fortunately, too late to matter,” the pink light said, sounding very assured of itself.

…

Outside the bedroom, Alma was leaning one hand against a wall, her other over her stomach. A groan of pain came out of her and a different kind of groan came from her stomach.

“Alright. Revenge is back on. I’m gonna punch Zoe right in her stupid face….” She wracked her brain, trying to come up with any spell she had that might help with this. Somewhere, it occurred to her that after Charlie had dragged her to so many of these stupid diaper baby monster traps, she really should be trying to learn spells to counteract that kind of thing. But even if she knew any ‘don’t-crap-your-pants’ spells, her mind was still so fogged up by all the kissing that she didn’t think it would make much of a difference.

“Awh, c’mon, noooo…” She wheezed out as her body bent into a squatting position against her wishes and she felt something in her lower stomach push. Before she could stop it, a mushy invader was entering the seat of her diaper. It settled against her padding, which bulged out for a second or two, but the bloomers apparently held her diapers more snugly than Alma realized, because fairly quickly, the wave of mush pushing back against her bottom. She felt a soft heat spreading as the wet, sludgey mess went everywhere it could reach. The wave of mess ended, before insult quickly arrived to supplement injury, a second smaller wave quickly pushing itself out just to fill her padding (and squish against her bottom) a little bit more.

“Ugh.” Alma’s head sunk and her arms hung. Here she was. Somebody who was trying to train herself to become a serious witch who did serious witch things, standing in a haunted daycare, in a frilly white dress and a messy diaper. She sighed as she tried to stand up straight, wincing as the movement of her muddy seat against her skin as she did.

“I really don’t see how this can get any worse.”

A few seconds after the words left her mouth, she heard a giggle coming from the ceiling.

“I think somebody has a poopy butt…”

Alma ran her hand down her face.
